Impact Lives

We know there are countless ways you could use the funds God has blessed you with to build up the Kingdom of God and impact lives for good. We appreciate you stopping by to read about our ministry and the areas we have available to impact lives through charitable giving. There is no pressure to give. We appreciate your heart for ministry and trust the Lord to use you as He leads. Thank you for considering LeTourneau.

Day Camp

Each year, during 6 weeks of day camp, children ages 5-13 come to LeTourneau to enjoy a week of fun adventures and most importantly learn about the wonders of God and the salvation He offers to all men; even small children. Each year we offer as many scholarships as possible to families that can’t afford to send their children to day camp. This is a wonderful way to change the course of a child’s life and impact families.

Inner City and Underprivileged Youth Camp

Each year, LeTourneau provides a free 2 night/3 day youth camp to inner city and underprivileged youth. During this camp, many of the campers experience the outdoors and lake life for the very first time! They make memories for life while playing with friends, swimming, tubing, and experiencing Gospel centered preaching and worship. These students need Christ and we provide an opportunity to know Him through the generous giving of compassionate believers.

Summer Staff and the Avis and Gerri Fund

In 2016, LeTourneau created THE WAY program to disciple teens and young adults. The program is funded through the Avis and Gerri Fund. The program is designed to be a rich discipleship and ministry program for students ages 14 thru college age. The aim of this program is to establish youth and young adults in their faith, to build up their trust in the Word, and to see them sold out to the Lord for the spread of the Gospel. The program also involves a ministry focus for students to learn a Christian work ethic from Christlike mentors. Students dedicate time to serve in day camps, food service, dining hall, housekeeping, maintenance, lifeguarding, recreation, and more. These students go on to be pastors, missionaries, deacons/elders, faithful spouses, and loving parents for the glory of God.

The School of Discipleship

On September 13, 2016, LeTourneau Christian Center welcomed its first students into THE WAY School of Discipleship; a one year discipleship and ministry opportunity for young adults! Students receive 10 hours of biblical education in New Testament, Old Testament, Theology, Apologetics/Worldviews, and other electives each week. They also have 10 hours of allotted for personal study and 20 hours in an area of ministry. Students are trained in areas of ministry, prepared for leadership, and eventually manage an area of ministry they have become proficient in. LeTourneau currently provides room and board, as well as, a weekly financial stipend free of charge to those who qualify. As you can imagine, this creates a huge financial burden on LeTourneau, but we are committed to discipleship and the future of these young people.

Pastor/Missionary Getaways

LeTourneau has been dedicated to providing free retreats to full-time pastors and missionaries and their dependents for years. Each minister and their family are given a free retreat to relax, recoup, reconnect, and refresh. Many of these ministers and their families have tremendous personal growth and ministry break throughs because of these retreats. It is an awesome privilege for this ministry and those who give to serve such servants of the Lord.

Staff

The staff of LeTourneau are missional in every way. They are dedicated to the Lord and come to LeTourneau to serve despite modest salaries and living conditions. They serve tirelessly and strive to spend their lives for eternal purposes. They are wonderful examples to the Christian community of sold out believers unwavering in their commitment to the Lord.
